Winter Activities That Burn Calories

The following 5 winter activities will help make the winter season a lot more enjoyable and get you in shape:

Number 5 – Snowmobiling

Hop onto a snowmobile for a great winter ride. Not only is it an exciting way to get around, you will also burn about 240 calories per hour.

Number 4 – Snowshoeing

Strap on some snowshoes and go explore the winter wonderland. You’ll be amazed at how easily you’ll be able to glide over the snowdrifts. You will also be getting a great leg workout and burning about 545 calories per hour.

Number 3 – Sledding

Sledding is a great way to feel like a kid again and also a great first date idea. If she needs a little convincing, just tell her that she can burn up to 350 calories an hour sledding down the hill.

Number 2 – Ice Skating

Ice skating is a great winter past-time and also burns approximately 375 calories per hour.

Number 1 - Snowboarding or Skiing

You have to agree that there is no better way to spend time during the winter than at your favorite mountain snowboarding or skiing. Snowboarding and Skiing also burns about 400 calories per hour all day.
